With our Cybersecurity for Energy Program, you will gain the skills needed to apply cybersecurity industry-standard frameworks and confidently articulate your recommended solutions. Our 15-week online program is developed in collaboration with leaders in Canada’s energy and cybersecurity industries.

Who is this program for?

This program is recommended for mid-career professionals with at least three years of work experience, ideally within the IT sector or a related field. Want a personalized assessment?  Reach out to our team.

Please note: you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act 2, and be legally entitled to work in Canada.

How long does it take to complete the program?

We understand life is busy, so you can choose to learn on your own schedule. You’ll have 15 weeks from the program start date to complete all learning materials.

What courses are included in this program?

Throughout the program, you will complete onboarding activities and job-readiness training with the support of our career coach. You will also complete three courses and three skills verification assessments. The courses are as follows:

  • Cybersecurity - Vulnerability Assessment in Energy
  • Cybersecurity - Incident Reporting and Response in Energy
  • Cybersecurity - Security Gap Assessment in Energy

Does this program have an internship component?

While this program does not include an internship, we will support your employment journey by providing access to our dedicated Career Coach. The Career Coach will skillfully assist you in refining your resume and optimizing your LinkedIn profile. They will also support you in developing a tailored strategy that will propel your job search and grant you access to Talent’s exclusive network of energy industry partners.

How much does this program cost?
